Team Leader, Mid-level Java/JEE Developer, IBM Services Center (Lille Area, France)
For a major aircraft manufacturer, I'm in charge of a team of 5 Java/JEE developers.
The applications developed by the team aim to replace the pilots logbooks with mobile applications (on Windows tablets or laptops) that allow to follow in real time the defects detected on the aircrafts.
As team leader, my role is to coordinate the development activities and to handle the communication between the team and the project manager. My experience also allows me to act as technical leader for junior developers.
In parallel with this activity, I also take part in the specifications, estimations, developments and maintenance of the applications.
